Magaya Celebrates 20 Years of Innovation and Excellence
Miami, FL – March 30, 2021 – Magaya Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end logistics and supply chain automation software, is celebrating its twentieth year of business in 2021.
First incorporated in 2001, co-founders Jesus David Rodriguez, Jose Yoniel “Yoni” Garcia, and Gabriel T. Ruz, Jr. started the company in a family member’s apartment with minimal resources. The code for the first release was written by Jesus and Yoni, and many of the early sales were made by Gabriel.
The three founders remain deeply involved to this day with strategy, R&D, and innovation, but the company has evolved tremendously from its humble beginnings. With more than 250 employees located among five offices across three countries, including its award-winning Global Headquarters building in Doral, Florida, current-day Magaya is a force to be reckoned with on an international scale.
The Magaya Supply Chain software has also evolved to reflect the changing nature of the logistics industry. What was once an operations software for freight forwarders now includes functionalities for warehouse management, import-export, 3PL, NVOCC, customs brokers, self-filing importers, and other logistics professionals. Throughout its 20 years in business, the company has released a host of products for tracking and visibility, compliance, accounting, and more. Plus, in 2020, Magaya acquired ACELYNK and Catapult, adding ACE-certified ABI software and rate management to its Ecosystem.
