They can collect signatures, grab photos, and update delivery statuses, right from their mobile devices. Once picked up or delivered, all pertinent data about the delivery is synced back to your Magaya system, automatically.
2. Does Final Mile work with my phone? Do I need to purchase specialized hardware?
The Final Mile app works with most recent iOS and Android phones. Download Final Mile on the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android users.
3. How much does Final Mile cost?
The app is free to download. To add support for Final Mile to your Magaya contract, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
4. How do barcode scanning and photo capture work with the Final Mile app?
The Final Mile app works with your phone’s native camera or any compatible Bluetooth scanner to scan barcodes or capture photos.
To use a peripheral Bluetooth scanner, simply pair the scanner with the smart phone. In the app, select the option to use a Bluetooth scanner in the Settings. Then, in a pickup or delivery task, select the Bluetooth scanning option in the app to scan package bar codes.
