Magaya Celebrates 20th Anniversary – A Letter from the CEO

This year, Magaya celebrates an incredible achievement of 20 years of technology innovation and customer excellence.

The past 20 years have come with great efforts, resulting in Magaya continuously being recognized in the market as a Top Logistics IT Provider by Inbound Logistics and occupying a spot on the Leader quadrant in the G2 Grid Report on Warehouse Management Solutions.

From our humble beginnings as a 3 person startup in 2001 to a global leader in logistics technology today, Magaya has played a significant role in helping SMB to enterprise logistics providers become successful and grow.

THE BEGINNING

When Jesus David Rodriguez, Jose Yoniel “Yoni” Garcia, and Gabriel T. Ruz, Jr. set out in their journey to establish Magaya 20 years ago, they did so with minimal resources: no office, no employees, and less-evolved technology which is vastly different than what we have at our disposal today.

What they did have was a driving passion to help logistics companies flourish. They had, and still have, an incredible work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a devotion to excellence – in the software they developed, in the service they provided to their early customers, and in the company culture they established.

These qualities, along with the amazing Magaya team, our customers, and partners, are what make Magaya so successful today.

Our core values remain the guiding principles for everything we do, and I would like to emphasize two fundamental beliefs which drive the success of our company:  people and customer success.

Through organic growth and acquisitions, we strengthened our business, building a team of knowledgeable experts who live by our core values and are driven by customer success. The reputation that Magaya has earned as a logistics technology solution provider is well-deserved. For this, I am honored to work with such an incredibly hard-working, forward-thinking, and dedicated team with endless ideas who never lose sight of our customers’ needs.

Magaya today looks quite different from the business that began in a Miami apartment 20 years ago. But, its essence is the same: our commitment to delivering the best technology and service to our customers.
