Getinge Selects Magaya for Customs Compliance and FTZ Warehouse Management

Aug 30, 2021 | Press Release

Miami, FL – August 30, 2021 – Magaya Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end logistics and supply chain automation software, today announced that Getinge has selected ACELYNK ABI by Magaya for improved efficiency in its customs compliance operations and FTZ warehouse management.

A global med-tech company, Getinge provides products, systems, and equipment that improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare facilities worldwide. Among its services, Getinge provides space design and architectural plans for productive workflows within ambulatory medical locations. Founded in 1904, the company now employs more than 15,500 people in 41 countries, all working together to help customers deliver reliable care.

A self-filing importer, Getinge was seeking an easy-to-use platform that would satisfy its current need for ISF, Entry Summary, and InBond filings. The company also required a scalable solution that would expand to accommodate its future needs for FTZ operations and inventory management. After researching numerous technology vendors, Getinge was impressed with the robust capabilities and scalability offered by Magaya’s ACE-certified solution, ACELYNK ABI.

“We had several considerations when researching and selecting the right solution,” said Frank Kozar, President of Getinge Group Logistics Americas LLC. “We needed a technology platform to help streamline our current customs filing process and allow us to add FTZ modules once our status is approved. Magaya supports our present and future goals with all the features that allow GGLA to reach the highest level of efficiency and compliance.”

ACELYNK ABI by Magaya will provide Getinge with advanced customs compliance features to streamline and accelerate filing, thereby increasing productivity. Real-time alerts will keep Getinge informed with instant updates on shipment statuses and visibility into transactions, duties, and fees. Getinge found that ACELYNK’s ability to extract data straight from its ERP solution along with the option to use EDI or the ACELYNK API to create and submit transactions to CBP offers significant added value. With ACELYNK’s warehouse management tool, Getinge will also be able to track inventory, organize the flow of goods and trace imports and exports, for a highly optimized FTZ warehouse.

“We’re especially proud to work with a company whose mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of people around the world,” said Magaya Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Buman. “By improving warehouse efficiency and expediting time-consuming processes, ACELYLNK’s advanced ABI solution ensures speed-to-market for Getinge’s critical services and life-saving equipment.”
