Raider Outboards, Inc. Selects Magaya for FTZ Inventory Control and Customs Compliance

Nov 29, 2021 | Press Release

Miami, FL – November 29, 2021 – Magaya Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end logistics and supply chain automation software, today announced that Raider Outboards, Inc. has selected Magaya’s ACELYNK FTZ Inventory Management and ACELYNK ABI to optimize inventory control and streamline customs compliance.

Raider Outboards designs and manufactures multi-fuel, submersible outboard engines and parts for the military, search and rescue teams, and commercial/retail customers. The company’s Safety Jet retrofits propeller-drive outboard engines into jet-drive systems, thereby creating a safer situation for swimmers and divers in training. Raider also produces a host of related parts and specialty items such as extended handles, extended fuel hose connections, outboard motor carts, and transportation cages.

As a self-filing importer and FTZ operator, Raider manages customs, importing, and warehouse operations in addition to conducting its core manufacturing business. This means that once the product is developed, Raider must ensure speed-to-market. Recognizing the need to expedite complex logistical processes, Raider turned to Magaya’s ACELYNK FTZ Inventory Management and ACELYNK ABI.

“We simply cannot afford delays in delivering essential equipment to military personnel,” says company President, George Woodruff. “ACELYNK ABI by Magaya will remove obstacles by increasing warehouse visibility, providing real-time updates, and centralizing customs filings. Just as the military relies on Raider for proven expertise in our field, we turned to Magaya for a superior solution in inventory control and customs compliance.”

With ACEYLINK ABI and ACELYNK FTZ Inventory Management, Raider will have the tools to optimize the flow of goods, trace imports and exports, and ensure its documentation is accurately matched to inventory. Advanced customs compliance features such as up-to-the-minute alerts on shipment status will help Raider move products through the supply chain quickly and efficiently. By leveraging these features, Raider will have the technology needed to remain organized and compliant, with constantly changing regulations.

“With ACELYNK by Magaya, Raider will benefit from a technologically advanced ABI solution that will ensure compliance while improving processes. As a manufacturer rather than a logistics provider, they will undoubtedly appreciate the intuitive, easy-to-use platform that frees them up to focus on their core business,” says Magaya Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Buman. “Magaya is proud to provide a software solution that allows Raider to focus on their primary business objective – manufacturing essential and life-saving equipment”.

About Raider Outboards, Inc.

Raider Outboards, Inc. was established in 2015 as a small business specializing in building outboard motors for the United States military. The company’s first contract was from the U.S.A.F Special Forces and since that time Raider has expanded into the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S. Space Force, and NASA.

In 2019 Raider began expansion into NATO countries with the initial sale to The Netherlands and now is in more than six countries. The name Raider was chosen to honor the U.S. Marines during WWII who used rubber boats to go behind enemy lines for special missions. These select men were known as Marine Raiders. Raider outboards now power these rubber boats for special military missions. The company motto is the following: the task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you.

Raider’s mission statement is to provide and deliver the most reliable premium products, hands-on training, and highest quality to customers – the U.S. Military, first responders, and friendly foreign governments.
