Magaya Supports Autism Acceptance Month

Miami, FL – April 1, 2022 – Magaya Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end logistics and supply chain software, today announced that in true Magaya spirit, it will launch a company-wide initiative in support of Autism Acceptance Month, a testament to its strong company culture, family values, and commitment to giving back to its local Miami community.

During the month of April, employees of Magaya will be raising funds in support of Friendship Circle of Miami, a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering friendship and acceptance to individuals with special needs through a host of different programs. Additional departmental initiatives creating awareness for the cause will be hosted throughout the month, culminating in the participation of Team Magaya at the Friendship Circle walkathon on May 1st. 

Through these events and initiatives, Magaya is building awareness about the importance of practicing acceptance for the Autism community. Autism diagnoses are on the rise, both for children and adults. Last December, the CDC announced that one in 44 children are diagnosed with Autism. Over 7 million people in the United States are on the Autism spectrum.
