Crowley Optimizes Integrated Warehouse and Freight Forwarding Operations in the U.S., Caribbean and Central America using Magaya

Feb 13, 2023 | Press Release

Miami, FL – February 13, 2023 – Magaya Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end logistics and supply chain software, today announced that global logistics leader Crowley has successfully implemented Magaya Supply Chain and Dimensioner by Magaya to optimize warehouse and freight forwarding efficiency for customers across its international supply chain system.

Crowley provides ocean, air, and land transportation solutions with more than 10 warehouses in the U.S., Central America, Caribbean, and Puerto Rico.

“With the complexity of cross-dock, distribution, and consolidation warehousing, we needed a robust warehouse management system (WMS) to streamline our internal processes. We also wanted to make self-service capabilities more available to our customers,” said John Abisch, Vice President of Global Supply Chain Solutions at Crowley Logistics. “Magaya provided the key warehouse management system (WMS) elements we wanted and the Dimensioner by Magaya resulted in added efficiency. Plus, using Magaya software for our air and ocean operation also provides significant benefits, allowing us to unify our work as we advance our digital transformation.”

Magaya Supply Chain provides a single system of record for Crowley’s shipping and freight forwarding operations, accounting, and visibility – complete with a warehouse management system. A flexible and scalable solution, Magaya Supply Chain resulted in increased efficiency and visibility at Crowley’s integrated warehouse and freight forwarding operations. Additionally, the Dimensioner by Magaya has improved productivity at key warehouse locations through digital automation, boosting accuracy and productivity by automatically measuring cargo dimensions, taking photos, and saving the data to the respective record in Magaya Supply Chain. Crowley customers can gain visibility into their NVO cargo moves utilizing Magaya’s self-service tracking tools.

“Working with the Crowley team has been exciting for us from the start. From the first time we spoke, we could immediately visualize the enormous potential our solutions had to make a positive impact on the business,” commented Magaya Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Buman. “We’re so happy to see Crowley Logistics up and running with Magaya and we’re just as thrilled to take our partnership to the next step as we begin implementing Magaya solutions with Crowley Land Transportation, a testament to the success we’ve had so far.”
